This week, we discussed the traditions of a different Francophone region! Today is the last day of the Fêtes de la Nouvelle-France in Quebec City, which is a festival that celebrates Canada’s French and Native heritage. This festival usually consists of historical reenactments, costumes, and unique crafts and foods. In honor of this festival, we shared a couple Canadian French words. A fan favorite was “le baladodiffusion” or “le balado,” which is the Canadian French word for podcast!
