Meeting Summary – 08/17/2025

Today, we discussed yet another different Francophone region. This is because today is Gabon Independence Day! To celebrate the country’s freedom from France, they hold concerts, parades, and fireworks displays. We discussed the similarities and differences of France’s Bastille Day to Gabon Independence Day even to American Independence Day. Finally, we briefly reviewed some holiday and Independence Day vocabulary.
