Today, we discussed an important historical event that holds a significant place in French culture: The Liberation Day of Paris. This day is remembered on August 25th, and it marks the day Paris was liberated from the German forces during World War II. This discussion gave us the opportunity to practice the various French past tenses, as well as the names of countries in French. We finished our meeting by playing a Kahoot game on the different conjugations of past tenses.
